Much better hosting option than my previous one.
Migrated to dailyrazor server hosting from a very bad web host I had experience dealing with, and all I can say is that they have fantastic infrastruc...
ture and support. I like the control panel they use - nice eye catchy and functional - it is worth it. Speed connectivity is quite good, pages load fast. If you are even considering switching to a new hosting provider... switch over to dailyrazor without looking back.

Unreliable, too much down time
Constantly down. They'll migrate equipment without warning - we were down for 8 days during a migration. Our uptime average is 87%. When they update s...
oftware they skip configuration steps, so we'll be down for anywhere from an hour to a day. I finally found a 3rd party monitoring service to watch the site - I had no idea how often it is actually down. It's dreadful. They're on black-hole lists so their email is blocked by many major ISP's. Want your mail to go out? You have to pay extra to use their "enhanced email" - which is Sendgrid email. But they can't seem to integrate it correctly, so we don't receive bounced emails or error reports. Their answer? None of our emails bounce - they all go through. I've seeded the list with test addresses that were guaranteed to bounce. They did not. Recently their SQL server crashed - we were down for 28 hours, and the backups they were supposedly doing are "all corrupted." So the most recent backup is 5 months old. A secure certificate is included in our hosting - but it auto expires and auto renews every month - seriously. So of course there's months where it does not auto-renew, and then our site is inaccessible. Open a trouble ticket and the first reply from a human will be several hours later and always just stalling for time. It can take weeks to address persistent problems, and all too often they are not fixed - like the email. What's worse is they treat people like clueless idiots. They could not restore our backup "because the active database was corrupt." Yea, that's why you do a restore. Then it was they skipped backups because the backups were corrupt. Huh? You'll want answers but you'll get the runaround.

Not recommended
Site5 has some suspect policies and I was charged after setting my account to not renew. Of course, they say I'm not eligible for a refund per ttheir...
policies. Besides heavily increasing prices, the reason I was moving was they did not want to update PHP version unless I paid even more money. Since they used the recurring payment type, it seems I'm just out the money they just took from me.
